Hang in there Willy. Things should get better. Also if someone is not showing any passion towards their job it may be somethign your owner should know about. Let me see if I can find some archived industry mags to send your way to pass the time and to have around the shop.

wow. that really sucks. part of the reason i like going into my work everyday is that i enjoy the company of my staff. i think that's the reason that my we make better tips at my location than at other shops within my company is that we feed off of each others energy and the customers pick up on it. i guess my best advice (for what it's worth) is to just be your own party. maybe if you're having enough fun on your own the temptation will become irresistable to your coworkers and they'll join in. even if not, it still breaks up the monotony. i agree with matt, also. i don't know about where you are but where i am there is no shortage of people who want my job. my employees take resumes every day which constantly remind us of how plush we have it. (and how easily we could be replaced!)

im very much willing to live there....but the problem is ..are there any coffee shops that directly hires employees outside from your country....tnx by the way for taking some time answering my query...
