Sounds like you may have made it yourself? Just a guess. If you don't like drip coffee, don't bother with espresso, or so it seems to me.
If you didn't make it yourself with your existing skills, you might try going to where your people got the shots that were sweet and tasty as described.
If you're still un-happy, perhaps you should have a coke and a smile.  |

lol I didnt make it. A friend made it at the coffee shop he works at. It just didnt taste good to me. |

uh I made it. it tasted sweet to me, as far as a double shot goes. thats what I poured for Saint.

I hate to let you down on this one but if your friend told you that his shot was "sweet", i would first ? where he got it and how many shots he had, and if it was an amiracano? in my expierence (witch is kindof limited I admit) shots are not necessairly "sweet" unless it was cheap coffe. Even the best espresso beans in the world are going to be bitter to some extent.
