Wednesday, 21 June 2006
We are inviting Baristas (male/female) who would be interested in coming over for a holiday and who would enjoy sharing their expertise and motivating as well as training a new generation of Baristas.

If you are a trained BARISTA and have a passion for making the finest coffees, If you are a person who enjoys traveling and seeing new places and understanding different cultures, Welcome to the Queen of the Arabian Sea, KOCHI, a town in the State of Kerala, in the south of India.

Kerala is now more popularly known as ‘The God’s own country’ thanks to its rich natural beauty. The WTTC-World Travel & Tourism Council has also recently rated  Kerala as one of the top three destinations in the world.

SB GLOBAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES PVT LTD. is a company created to promote and develop a range of programmes in the field of career education, training, coaching, consultancy, marketing of educational products and services.

Our mission is to educate, nurture and mentor people from different walks of life for success in their careers. We have creaed an environment that provides a high quality learning experience benchmarked to international standards.

One of our core objectives is to stimulate exchange of international students and travelers seeking new exposure and experiences and fostering understanding of different cultures.

The Asia Pacific International Campus at Kochi,  a division of SB Global, is aimed at establishing international standards in career education using the internationally acclaimed and accepted curriculum of TAFE (Technical and Further Education), Australia. The courses are offered through academic partnership with Guilford School of Hospitality, Singapore and their affiliated partners William Angliss Institute of TAFE, Australia and University of Ballarat, Australia.

We also arrange internships for qualified international hospitality professionals with at least a few years experience for periods of 6 months in leading Hotels & Resorts in India and neighboring countries.- this could be extended by mutual consent, but restricted to a year.

As part of the Hospitality courses and in order to offer some short term enrichment courses to the local industry and the community, we are keen to offer short courses that would develop specific skills in high growth areas.

The Coffee bars and cafés are a high growth area in India and more and more brands are setting up franchises across the country. As this is an international concept that has caught on in India just recently, there is a shortage of trained baristas.

The Asia Pacific International Campus would like to host skilled BARISTAS for periods of 3-6 months as this is a passionate field for many youngsters to display verve and enthusiasm and make any event lively.
