Nationally known coffeehouse and roastery seeking serious coffee person for barista position in the Tampa Bay area. Coffeehouse has been in existence for 11+ years. Work with some of the top professionals in the coffee industry through the sister companies located next door and others in the general area. Training! training! training! and all the work you could ask for. Many coffee professionals (growers, roasters, engineers, writers and allied professionals) come through these doors in the course of the year. Lots of sunshine, beaches and good cheer. All professional affiliations and dues paid.
Perfect person: intellegent, motivated, people-oriented coffee lover looking to become a well-rounded coffee professional. Must not be afraid of: lever espresso machines, roasting equipment, learning, speaking-up, thinking or work.
Not wanted: Prima Donnas, know-it-alls, whiners, bitchers, complainers, hypochondriacs or whimps. Poseurs of all stripes need not apply.
So, if you think you may want to spend the rest of your career in coffee and you are looking for a position where you can come in contact with all segments of the Specialty Coffee Industry- this may be the position for you.
